People keep saying how good this is. Is it?
Not just the same old stuff as every other James Bond movie?

To me the plot reached the level of absurdity of Die Another Day and Moonraker, and while I still think Die Another Day at least is a fun movie, No Time To Die is not. Die Another Day had interesting chase sequences and fights, No Time To Die did not. Gustav Graves while he was completely over the top and hamming up his performance big time I at least found him engaging, Safin seemed like he was just reading his lines off a teleprompter (as was Drax). Safin I thought was on the level of Dominic Greene. Plus I cannot excuse the decisions they made with Bond's character at the end.

MovieChatUser497, with you all the way on the last point.

As for the film itself, I enjoyed it (well, until the end lol) but didn’t think it was as good as most of Craig’s other Bonds. There’s a lack of memorable scenes (the one exception being the SPECTRE sequence with Paloma), Safin was an unremarkable villain and the much-anticipated rivalry between the 007s (which had bags of potential) was just played out rather passively.

It’s been hailed as “magnificent” and has been receiving rave reviews but, at the moment, I can’t help but feel that it’s been overrated.

Nah, they just keep throwing millions at promotion I just saw a NTTD commercial where they put in HUGE LETTERS "#1 Movie in the World!"

In reality NTTD is barely even watchable, too long, too boring, little action, stupid ending.
