No it wasn't. It was inferior in every way to the first one. And the first one wasn't a great film to begin with.

The first one wasn't great but it was atmospheric and had Charlize Theron, the second one was just boring.

I enjoy it, it had a lord of the rings feel to it and I wanted to explore more of that world
