Best Episode in Your Opinion??

Alright I guess I will start with my favorites;

The Entire History of You is definitely my favorite
The second would probably be White Christmas
and San Juniper would most likely be the third.

Shut Up & Dance is my favourite. It kept playing on my mind after I saw it more so than the other episodes, really dreary and horrifying.

I agree with your list and would add Nosedive and Hang the DJ.

Iā€™m suprised how many of you are mentioning White Bear. I just finished season 4, and White Bear is still my least favorite episode of the entire series.

Iā€™m not here to bash it, because itā€™s of course a matter of taste.

I just thought Iā€™d explain why itā€™s my least favorite episode and how I think it stands out from the rest:

In a lot of the episodes, it seems highly unlikely that the depicted technology will ever exist in real life. But that part is totally fine by me in a sci-fi show. The two things I love about Black Mirror, is that the episodes generally have some very interesting and relevant themes and that I think they depict some very interesting and quite realistic behavior from the characters if we ā€œacceptā€ the existense of all the crazy tech. For instance in my favorite episode The Entire History of You: a grain that records your every move and lets you relive every moment like that will most likely never exist. But itā€™s an extremely interesting idea, and I find it very realistic that someone would react the way the main character does, given the things he experiences.

But I donā€™t feel that way about White Bear. Someone turning a convicted criminalā€™s sentence into an attraction without showing a single ounce of sympathy for the woman is highly unrealistic and is in my oppinion an overestimate of the evil in humans. It was too one-sided and was missing someone who was against the whole concept. Something like that would never go down without any protests.

Iā€™m curious why some of you liked it so much?
