Allaby, do you have a special affection for Ms. Berry? She's a lovely woman, but her Catwoman performance was nearly comedy.

I will however echo the sentiment that Julie Newmar is the greatest Catwoman ever (shame she never got to play her on the big screen).

I find Kilmer gave an extremely underrated rendition of Batman. I say:

Yeah - I agree. Kilmer is my fave Batman. Christian Bale is all right, but he overacts. Keaton is good at being a tormented soul - but he isn't athletic enough to buy as Batman.

Adam West was a joke. Ben Affleck - I don't know, he may have drinking at the time. He didn't fit.

George Clooney was a joke. Oh and Pattinson, too small. Plus too young looking.

The one guy I felt had pretty much all the elements needed to play Bruce Wayne / Batman - or was closest to it anyway - is Val Kilmer.
