Is this evil president a white man?

I sure hope not, he needs to be black. Or a she. Look at the civil war that nearly broke out under Obama. We all know we would've gone to war if Hillary Clinton had her way. Garland needs to make it realistic.

Its hard to get funding if your film do not feature evil white men dressed in Nazi uniforms !

reply

Modern day Hollywoke characters...

Evil leader/bad guy = white male, preferably over 40
- all of his henchmen are also white men
Heroic leader = young white woman
Good guy team = a black woman, a black man, either a male or female asian/hispanic (typically not both), some type of non-binary (either an android or sentient animal) and finally, a really dull-witted white guy

While not specifically credited with the role on IMDB, it appears that actor Nick Offerman is the president in the film.

Nick Offerman is a white man.

reply

I bet his other character Ron Swanson was the inspiration.

reply

Trump is a white man.

reply

It appears you lack comprehension skills as it pertains to the OP's question.

reply

Movie is clearly about Trump.

reply

It was a racial question.

reply

Trump is a white man.

reply

In asking the question, the OP was referring to the character in the movie.

Why is that so hard to understand?

reply

My interpretation of the trailer was that the state seceding are the "villains". If that is true, then the President of the USA would be the good guy.

reply

It's very clear the president is a play on Trump. President who is white and wants a third term.

Nick Offerman is also a huge liberal who hates Trump and libertarians which is why he probably took the role.

reply

Third term?

I'm going into this movie with the thought of it being open for interpretation. It's Biden with the staggering number of political prisoners currently behind bars and if given the chance he would absolutely use the military against American citizens. I wouldn't put past him after what we have lived through for three years now.
