Which 80s series should get the big budget movie remake next?
Providing Fall Guy is a hit (might be more bc its Gosling/Ken, Emily/kinda Barbie),
Well first off Lee Majors other hit show 70s Six Million Dollar Man will immediately get fast tracked after about 2 decades in development hell (with Mark Walberg as the Six Billion Dollar Man)
Then wed get the 80s series movies we should've got had The A Team been a hit in 2010. Probably Knight Rider finally (a new guy like Pratt as Michael Knight but got to have The Hoff in it somehow preferably as OG Michael Knight somehow), then AirWolf (Josh Harnett and SLJ as Stringfellow Hawk and Dom Santini), and maybe another go at The A Team (be funny if they got the 2010 cast back Neeson, Cooper, Rampage, District9), TJ Hooker (Chris Pine), Magnum PI (McCongahey was rumoured a couple of decades ago but would still work now) etc - most of which have been in development hell since the late 90s early 2000s like The A Team until they finally did it in 2010 (and some have since had failed TV remakes), and probably directed by likes of Justin Lin, James Wan, the other John Wick director etc. Abit like the 90s when we get all the big movie remakes of 60s shows The Fugitive (the one that kicked all the 60s movie remakes off as was a huge hit/critically acclaimed), Mission Impossible, The Avengers, Lost in Space (even Batman&Robin was like a big budget version of the 60s series)
But it all hinges on if Fall Guy is a hit..
