shareI've seen the trailer. It looks like moronic Hollywood producers have gotten their mitts on it and are ripping off elements of Die Hard in the promotion. They're doing their best to make it look like a derivative studio-hack cash grab.

shareI just saw it and it is not at all reminiscent of Die Hard. It's much more in the vein of Death Wish or, to use a more recent example, Peppermint.
Also, the visuals and action are highly-stylized and definitely bear John Who's mark. I thought it was a cool movie, though it's perhaps about 10 minutes too long.
