Most China pandering ever in a movie?

Hard to think of one that tops this.

reply

Only saw one main Chinese actor, the governor at the Shield wall.

No, don't see it as the most pandering ever.

..Joe

And he lose. Badly.

reply

in what way did this movie "pander" to China?
in fact wtf is "China pandering"?
and why do you think that that is a bad thing?

reply

*ahem* The Great Wall, The Meg, Skyscraper. It's not hard if you really think about it.

reply

It's not the most China-pandering ever, but it's pretty close.

A Chinese-ran mega-city that's the last bastion of ground-based civilization on Earth? Check.

A Chinese governor who runs the city? Check.

Lead aerial corps is a Chinese (Korean in real life) woman who appears to be an androgynous lesbian? Check.

London gets nuked at the end and all the refugees end up as immigrants in the Chinese bastion-city? Check.

Yeah, it was pretty heavy pandering to China. I don't know if it tops Pacific Rim: Uprising, but it comes awfully close.

Second most. I think the most has gotta be:
