First Jenna Elfman on FTWD now this? Is Roseanne Barr next?

The name caught my eye too and I thought of her but figured it wasn’t the same one. Who is she??

reply

Tammy. The old mother of the boy who got killed.

reply

OHMYGODITISHER

Lol @ looking up just in time to see her swiggin from a big ol’ bottle of booze.

reply

Brett was on The Leftovers on HBO a couple years ago too.

reply

Wow..I did not recognize her..
She had lots of issues with drugs and alcohol and erratic behavior that wrecked her career back in the 90's..
Guess it's good she's getting some kind of work

reply

Wtf does it matter???? Roseanne would most likely do a good job on the show. I could see her playing a curmudgeon old bitch with a shotgun. Walking Dead is b movie, direct to video fare so i don't know why you expect big movie caliber actors.

reply

It's not that I expect movie actors, it just seems a trend is starting with 90s sitcom stars.

reply

Good for them I say. They are all perfectly capable actors.

reply

Personally, I support the trend...I'd love to see more, see what they're up to, get a little bit of that 9o's nostalgia going. I don't think it takes away from the show, not too big of a distraction, but others might disagree. Most of the younguns wouldn't recognize them anyway haha and who knows what it might do for their old shows. I'd actually like to catch Brett's old show back on again, I used to watch it back then.

TWD can totally afford to pay a small fee for an older known face, it's a win-win as far I can tell. It's not like TWD will be known for its stellar perfection anyway, might as well be a casting call for the older generation hahahahaha

How about bringing on the TGIF crew to join.

Family Matters, Perfect Strangers, Step By Step, Hanging With Mr. Cooper

reply

If Reginald VelJohnson and Sasha Mitchell were to show up, on either show, as a traveling duo... I would lose my shit.

reply

Jaleel White could bring it. Perfect Strangers?👎 Not sure about Step By Step either, but then again who would have ever seen Bryan Cranston, Malcolm’s dad, playing Walter White?? Jim Carey kills it in his serious roles. Maybe comedians are the best at playing the serious heavy roles.🤔
