ok so this is a tribute thread to queen

who's trolled for 5 months on Ant-Man 2 and Now has the embarrassment of everything he said coming back to bite when its now compared to Aquaman...

Here are some of Queen greatest trolling attempts on AM2....that now disastrously fail when you apply them to Aquaman

I didn't say it wouldn't make 600 million, I said it wouldn't be "easy"...and it wasn't.

Look...600 million for a Marvel film should be a given at this point. The fact that it took it over 2 months to reach it is troubling.

Meanwhile, the hot buzz seems to be surrounding Aquaman and Shazam. There is a strong sense that the tables are turning.

lol The "Hot Buzz surrounding Aquaman" that queen was bragging about....turned out to be A 64% rated movie on RT....55 on Meta, Terrible Average Score on RT of 6/10, with the overwhelming Majority of Positive reviews being Average at Best...but here the best part, The HOT BUZZ surrounding Aquaman that queen was bragging about turned out to be a 67 Million Opening Weekend....lol this is beyond an Epic fail because queen is on record a Dozen times saying that AM2's 75 Million Opening is disappointing....He then liked to point Aquaman's RED HOT Buzz...and it turned out, Aquaman couldnt even match AM2's OW

Oh ME is right....here queen made a thread to declare AM2's 75 Million OW A Disappointment....

what does that make Aquaman's 67 Million OW? a complete failure?

this is Trolling back firing at its finest...

the reason queen felt so comfortable trolling on AM2s 75 Million OW is because Queen actually expected,predicted and guaranteed Aquaman to open to at least a 135 Million OW.

simply put, Queen never in a million years saw a scenario where Aquaman wouldn't open larger or even be able to Match The MCUs weakest Franchise in AM...

Oh Me, Queen has to be sitting at home right now thinking "but I thought the hype was RED HOT....how did it open less than the DISAPPOINTING AM2"

Any Marvel movie, at this point, that can't even open over 80 million is an underperformer. It's predicted to open just 10-18 million above the original and when you factor in ticket price inflation that's barely an improvement.

The budget for this one is higher than the first and we're talking about a franchise where it's last two films opened over 200 million.

I mean if Aquaman doesnt at least have the same expectations as AM2/the MCU's weakest franchise then theres no hope...

lol Aquaman costs 200 Million to make, AM2 costs 162 Million to make....queen specifically says in this thread budgets counts...

since AM2 had a larger budget than AM1...it should open higher....

the same has to go for Aquaman, Aquaman has a 40 Million dollar larger budget than AM2...therefor by queens own logic, it should have opened larger.... if not, its an Under-performer

either that or queens got to admit...Marvel Studios playing on a different field than DC...

and explain why its ok for NO MCU film to open less than 80 M .....but its fine for Aquaman(a film he guaranteed to open over 135 M) to open to 67 Million...

Profit over profit LOL. Three words...Crazy Rich Asians with a 30 million dollar budget.

And Disney?

Yeah they will get a moderate profit from AM2 and isn't that to be expected at the very least as it is a Marvel movie?

this might be my favorite....because its classic queen....had absolutely no ability to thinking into the future or past...

ok that Moderate Profit queen is talking about on AM2 is actually a confirmed 120 Million + in profit from AM2...

fast forward to now.....Aquaman is set to net WB A whopping 60 to 67.5 Million in Profit....thats right....AM2 is going to be almost twice as profitable as Aquaman.

the Math is....WB spent 200 M+ on the budget and WB really went all in on a final marketing campaign that ended up being 120 to 150 M in Marketing...

that sets the break even point for Aquaman at 700 to 750 Million...

Aquaman seems to be heading to a 900 M + WW gross.....so thats 150 Million in profit from Aquamans Theatrical gross...which WB ONLY gets half , the other half goes to theaters...

So thats about 75 Million WB is gonna make in Profit from Aquaman....But James Wan has a back end deal where he gets between 10 to 20% of profits...which puts WBs profit from Aquaman at 60 to 67.5 Million...

So if a 120 Million profit from AM2 is Moderate to queen and disappointing....

Then how disappointing must Aquaman's 60 to 67.5 Million profit be?

Or speaking of the PAST...

How disappointing is Man of Steel's 42 M in Profit?

or BvS's 103 Million In Profit?

Or How about Justice League's 60 Million + in LOSES

lol Its seem queen has no abiltty to think about the past or present when trolling, instead He's says things like AM2's 120 Million in Profit is Moderate and disappointing without ever once thinking about what his trolling will do when applied to past and forward films...

oh and queen since you asked about Disney in this post....still #1 for the 6th out of 7 years....currently ahead of WB in 2018 by a little over 1 Billion

It's simple. Disney hardly makes even moderately budgeted films anymore. Nearly all of their films are amongst the most expensive in the business so they have to knock it out of the park every time.AM2 ain't "knocking it outta the park" for a film with a 160-170 million dollar budget.

lol there are also countless other threads where queen predicts AM2 wont make as much as AM1 domestically....then changed it to wont top Solo domestically....AM2 easily did both

Queen also made call out threads where he claimed AM2 wouldnt top 600 M WW....He predicted 540 M at BEST...

Queen's predicted Aquaman to open to OVER 135 Million for a 3 day weekend at least a dozen times...

queen first predicted Aquaman would have the greatest domestic box office run in history claiming Aquaman would make over 1 Billion dollars JUST Domestically

he later changed that to at least a half dozen predictions of Aquaman making at least 400 Million domestically and having a jumanji type run....worth noting BOTH prediction had Aquaman opening to a RED HOT 3 day 135 Million + opening weekend....so as of right now....Aquaman is coming in about 68 Million dollars less RED HOT than queen excepted...

overall Aquaman will be a hit...just nowhere near the level queen predicted and I have no clue how Queen can ever brag about Aquaman or ever talk good about its box office .....not after the trolling he did with AM2...

theres no way around it...If queen was disappointed by AM2's box office....Aquaman has to be a down right failure to HIM..

Lol indeed. But no matter how many times he gets proven wrong and ends up embarrassing himself, he always returns with the same old nonsense. We know the times something he hopes happens happens... e.g. anytime a Disney movie underperforms... he gloats like there’s no tomorrow. However, when the opposite goes down and it comes back to bite him in the ass (which is usually what happens), the smug dedicated troll goes into hiding for a while. Pfft.

I haven’t bothered with that fool in a long time.... and damn it feels good! :D Since his rampage won’t end, it’s nice to know others continue to put him in his place.

but as for MP....please do some research before talking box office...

Had you done even a ounce of research you would have seen MPs is a Musical.....Musical's are long term plays, especially at Xmas.

this is not an exaggeration, you can check any and all Box office sites and analysts who predicted MPs box office and they all Specifically noted MP wont open huge but Will Play great for months...

again had you done any research you would have seen just last year The Greatest Showman opened less than MPs and went on to have an amazing 3 month run....this is just how Musicals work...

Instead you did no research and think "Nobody cares" about MPs because you misunderstood its Low Opening....

but honestly I do not want this thread to change to MPs...

There must be an awful lot of UNCOOL parents....because Aquaman had a pretty low OW....there must be a bunch of upset right now because based on Aquaman's opening weekend..its clear not a very many people showed for Aquaman

lol 67 Million is the same as Cap 1 .....lol a phase 1 Origin film, which at the time Cap was a B list character who had never appeared in a major motion picture made 67 M in 2011...

fast forward 7 years later, Aquaman could even top Cap 1's OW after already being in 2 Major motion pictures and Event films...

apparently BvS and JL literally resulted in ZERO interest in the character of Aquaman...

If Cap 1 can open to 67 Million in 2011 with no build up films....then my god Aquamans opening to same amount in 2018 after being in 2 event films that were susposed to BUILD INTEREST...Literally means NO ONE cared about him in BvS and Justice League....It literally means almost no one saw BvS and JL and said "Oh Man Aquaman was great I want to see him again"

lol for comparison....look at Black Panther...

Black Panther gets introduced in An Event film in CW....His solo film goes on to dominate...Its clear Audiences connected with BB in CW and got excited about his solo film

Look at Spider-Man...Spider-Man was coming off 2 straight movies that under performed and Box office was on a downward trajectory...

Spider-Man gets introduced in CW....His Solo films instantly turns the tide and start back on a major upward trajectory...Its clear Audiences loved Spider-Man in CW and came back to see him in Homecoming...

lol Aquaman seems to literally have not gotten a single viewer from BvS and JL to come and see his solo film...His opening weekend is so low its suggests as you Ironically said above "No one gave a wet fart about seeing Aquaman again after seeing him in BvS and JL"

since 2003 there has been over 50 Comics book movies been made....In all most all Lists and Polls, 98% of The best CBM's have been made after 2003...

simply put for what ever reason you have missed out on all the best CBM's because you childishly decided to stop watching comic book movies after 2003...

yes there have been some awful Comics book movies before 2003 and after....But for the most part comics book movies have ONLY went up in quality since 2003 and Have hit heights that are literally among some of the greatest movies ever...

The Avengers,The Dark Knight, Logan, Captain America 2, Avengers IW, GOTG, Civil War, Wonder Woman, X-Men DOFP, Black Panther....

you have missed out and truly great films...

again I know you probably thought you sounded TOUGH by saying You havent watched a cbm since 2003....

My father died last month, and one of the greatest experiences I'll forever remember of him is when him and I went to see The Avengers on opening Night...we both are lifelong Avengers fans, The Avengers was our most anticipated movie ever....and watching The Avengers in theaters was the greatest theatrical experience of our lives...we literally screamed, jumped up and down, grabbed each other saying "OMG can you believe it"

Its an experience I will forever be grateful for....You have childishly robbed yourself of Potential similar experiences for what I can see as a completely most pointless of reasons

I saw you arguing with QueenFan on the Mary Poppins board how Mary Poppins was all the hype with the kids these days and would crush Aquaman and i thought it was funny so i followed you here to see more of triade.

I stopped caring about movies and television long ago they just aren't relevant to me outside a Netflix n Chill and if wasnt for football i would ditch cable completely if they didnt force me to buy it to a have a wifi signal.

Modern comic books are nothing but Hollywood trash used to completely shit on the original stories so Hollywood can justify filling their politically correct agenda because "it was in some comic book from 2015" and i'm too old for all that nonsense i'll be on YouTube

Pay no attention to Billbrown he has a serious inferiority complex and is a well know DC bias Marvel fantastic... and you haven't been missing much, Aquman and Wonder Woman were the frist decent comic book movies to come out since the Dark Knight, I just saw Aquman the other day in IMAX 3D with my dad and brother and it was the a breath taking movie experience I've had and probably ever will.
