Rewatching in 2020 -- Show Sucks

I’m rewatching all the episodes and just finished Series 2. This show is pretty bad.

So far the only good episodes are S01 EP01 A Study in Pink & S02 EP02 Hound of the Baskervilles.

The first three episodes were great, basically all of season 1.

The first and last episodes of season 2 were great. The Hound of the Baskervile Episode was moronic.

Season 3 sucked ass in its entirety.

The Christmas special was even worse.

Season 4 was underwear on the head stupid, it was a total shitshow.

I agree Series 4 was complete trash.

I watched S01 / E01 to see if I could get into it. I found the Sherlock character so arrogant and socially rude that I thought the writers were trying to present him as having some kind of development disorder or psychiatric condition. It was also pretty far fetched that Watson - a medical doctor and expert soldier - would be ambulating around with a self-acknowledged psychosomatic limp. Then you had the prolonged exchange between Sherlock and Watson on the possibilities that each might be homosexual; a device purely to permit the writers to virtue signal. That was enough for me to abandon the show

2021 UPDATE:

As bad as this crapfest was, it's several orders of magnitude better than "The irregulars" and "Enola Holmes" netflix garbage.

As bad as Enola was, I'd watch it again over this show.
