shareIt is simply not. Just because you have a pathological disdain for Scott and practically any other modern film director doesn't make it a fact. Prometheus has a lousy script and stupid characterisation, but it has absolute gorgeous cinematography, stunning special effects, a good score and some great acting, especially from Fassbender. It is simply not anywhere near the worst of films.

The most frustrating part is that with a ton of common sense rewrites to the script, it could be a masterpiece, however, they managed to mess up any and every opportunity of mimicking realistic human behavior outside of hope. It's not the worst movie, because it started to seem much better after Alien: Covenant was made.

The terrible thing is that I am afraid I will actually pay to go see it.
I honestly do not get these crappy movies though ... it seems to me
that it would cost about the same to make a good movie rather than
a lousy one ... so why not make a good movie?
The movie was one big "Cardiff Giant".
