Could they have come up with a more boring title?

They might has well have called it "Women Doing Stuff".

reply

Not even accurate, mo like Women Whinin

reply

have you seen it?

reply

No and I'm not planning to.

reply

The title is the ultimate "As if". It implies women don't yap and if they do, you better listen!

reply

I can't think of a less appealing title.

reply

“Men Not Listening”

reply

This movie is probably going to turn into Men Yawning.

The poor viewing figures tell a pretty clear picture. $4.4m in 8 weeks is indicative of a film that just isn't capturing the target audience. Who are the target audience by the way? Oh, yes... women, not men. So women ALSO aren't listening.

This is a clear case of a film being made for critics and being watched by critics. Which explains why almost zero members of the public want to see it, while every critic raves about how good it is. It's an obvious flop.

If anything, it's a case of "If you had anything worth saying, you'd be worth listening to."

Its an appropriate title. In addition being what it is about, it draws attention to the unusual nature of the film - its loaded with dramatic speaking parts for multiple women.

reply

If that’s why they called it Women Talking, then it’s officially the cringiest title in history.

reply

Men Sleeping?

reply

Andy Warhol did a 5 hour movie exactly about that.
