I know what Spaniards look like, I see one every time I look in the mirror, and there’s plenty of people who look exactly like Raul Julia in Spain. Although I do agree most Americans can’t tell Europeans apart or even a Spaniard from a Latin American.
I also agree that Guzman doesn’t look like a Spaniard and I wouldn’t have cast him in the role. Not only does he not look Spaniard he just doesn’t come across as aristocratic and just not right for the part, but if his acting is good it really doesn’t matter to me. He’s an actor and I’m sure he’ll do fine.
