The midget gets lucky again.

The ref was blowing the whistle anytime Netherlands tackled an Argentine player. And some of the tackles Argentina were doing were borderline red cards. I swear Messi gets lucky almost every tournament. It's clear they want the midget to be in the final.

The deliberate handball that wasn’t carded 🤔

reply

That. And also other players deserved yellows. There was that one guy who got a yellow for a hard tackle, but he kicked the ball into the dugout and that wasn't given. This ref was all over the place. Not surprised considering he terrible in the EPL too.

reply

The ref deserved a red card, lol.

reply

I forgot about the encroachment on the penalty from the player running inside the box.

And I'd like to see a replay of the foul that that gave Argentina the penalty. It looks like it could be outside the box.

My son is a big Messi fan...but, yes, that is a good point on the handball from Messi. I'm not sure what he was trying to accomplish there.

reply

Deliberate handball is supposed to be an automatic yellow. Is anyone really surprised that the most corrupt WC is trying to help Messi win? His club owners are Qatari for crying out loud.

reply

I swear they'll do everything to help him advance.

reply

Yes...even the announcers were stunned that he didn't get a yellow card for that.

reply

Not a midget tho is he

reply

5´7 is kind of the range for a male to get "midget" jibes. Unless of course, you are Kowalski, who thinks he is special being 6´5 then anyone under 6´2 is a midget.

reply

Just know this, Messi's employer at PSG is the emir of Qatar and so is Mbappé's of France. The finale is probably going to be Argentina-France, although it wouldn't surprise if it's Morocco just to prove how superior Arabs are to Europeans.

reply

After yesterday's Argentina game, it looked pretty obvious the refs were favouring Messi. And to make it worse, Messi even criticized the refs. The guy is a sore winner but people look at him like he's a saint.

reply

So why the referee added 10 min? I believe you over reacting. It's only a yellow card.

reply

10 minutes is common in this world cup. It's happened maybe 15 times already.

reply

But there's almost no breaks in the game, no one would have blamed the referee if he had added fewer minutes. If the theory is that the ref 'sell' the game why he added 10 min and why he gave them a foul in the last second?

Even if the ref give respect to Messi it's not the reason they won.

reply

The guy kicked a ball into the dugout and didn't get a yellow. That would have sent him off. Messi didn't get a yellow for the hand ball and that would have sent him off too because he got one later. Everytime there was even the slightest tackle on an Argentine player, the red would blow the whistle.

reply

"Only a yellow card". lol. With 2 yellows he would have been sent off and the player replacing him might have missed a penalty.

reply

It's called deflection, he doesn't want to draw suspicion to himself. He walked up to Van Gaal after the game to call him names, which shows you what a perfect llittle angel he is. Apparently he's still butthurt because Van Gaal didn't get along with his buddy Riquelme back in Barcelona. I just don't have the energy to watch these staged events anymore.🤷‍♀️

Meanwhile, fourth-generation Morroccans have been trashing the place over here again because their team won.👍

reply

I don't think you understand how much I wanted you guys to win yesterday. I let out a huge "fuck!" when Argentina won.

reply

That's sweet. I think Canada should've won the game against Belgium.
