Why is this movie getting so much discussion ?

Seriously, I see this movie's icon on the discussion list on the
MC homepage so often. I just wonder what is there to care
about or discuss with it? I think I saw 10-15 minutes of this
a long time ago. It's total exploitation and people who watch
this stuff are kind of suckers. What do you hope to get out of
it. Hmm, maybe there is something to discuss about this movie?
But what? I think it is pointless and sick.

Twisted revenge movie,the original pushed a lot of boundaries at the time. This one not so much. Its probably better acted but not as shocking as it was back when the original was released. People watch movies for a variety of reason but at its core its to be entertained in some way, for some shocking material is entertaining.

The movie wasn't popular in the cinima but is popular in these forums because of the contraversy it brings to the table.

Namely
1. Is the woman justified in killing everyone. IE is death a valid punishment for rape.
2. Is the woman justified in killing the retarded male who was forced to participate just like she was.
3. The uncomfterbal situation that the audience is forced to watch a rape scene that feels like it lasts forever.
4. Femanist/MGTOW controversal discussions that the film is feeding the recent trend of victimization of women like the #metoo movement that seems to imply romanticly approaching a woman is up their with rape or labled as misconduct at the very least.

It's not a very good movie but neither was the original.

It was very satisfactory. An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. It had the right amount of imagination and graphic depiction for the torture and death scenes. I hoped Jennifer had lived and was able to get the drop on her perps. Maybe Matthew didn't deserve to die the way he did, but the others got farked beyond belief.
