I seem to be the only person I know that likes this.

I wish there had been a sequel, it was so setup for a sequel and I still wish it had happened.

Agree. I liked this movie. But I also loved Superman Returns so what do I know, right? lol. I thought Ryan was great in it.

I think there are some very strong parts and weaker parts; it falls in that 'let's have 2-3 villains' category, which I hate. Parallax probably could have been saved for a sequel but that's all in the past. I definitely think he got ruined with the whole dark/serious hero trend going on at the time. But for what it was, it was fun.

I liked it too. I have no idea about the hate but I suspect it’s from those that have an intimate knowledge of the comics. 8/10

Well I consider myself one of those with intimate knowledge. Green Lantern is one of the comics I've read for a long time, since the early 1970's.

I enjoyed it! I thought it was a lot of fun and I don't understand why even Ryan Reynolds hates it.

I’ve only just seen it for the first time, expecting it to be entirely a waste of time…. But it wasn’t. It was fine - entertaining enough.
