LOTR:TROP was more entertaining

They tried in HOTD but they failed after wasting the crab feeder.

reply

The show got 100x better when the crab feeder died

reply

Hmm ok, will watch.

reply

If by "more entertaining" you mean entertaining to see how much of a travesty the show-runners and script "writers" could make out of a beloved and epic legendarium, I totally agree with you. Otherwise... HotD, though slow to start and still far from what I would call "good" turned out to be pretty decent and several orders of magnitude better than the execrable TRoP (which could just as well be called TRiPe)

reply

Curmudgeon indeed. Don't forget your cup of Nightshade.

reply

And don't forget to put away all your sock puppets when you're finished playing with them.

reply

You're like one of those nazi camp bookkeepers that think their roll call logs are a legacy.

reply

I never read the books and I don't care about the lore.

But RoP is a fucking big failure full of holes. Total disaster.

reply

I think when you were trying to type "LOTR:TROP was dogshit" you slipped on your seat and somehow managed to mash your face into the exact combination of keys that, instead of "dogshit" produced the words "more entertaining".

Then, I guess you forgot to edit your post.

These things happen.

reply

Your name here says all. Enough said.

reply

Tautology - the saying of the same thing twice over in different words.

reply

Your hunch is just wrong, Quasimodo.

reply

I don't think so, Bobo.

reply

That's what makes you such a tragic figure, Quasimodo!

reply

Look who's talking, Bobo.

reply

Love GOT, love LOTR. HOTD > LOTR:TROP and they both suck compared to their predecessors.

reply

Alright, I agree with your last statement and will finish watching HOTD for better appraisal.

reply

They are just different. HOTD feels more like a medieval drama with an occasional dragon here and there. Rings of Power is way more mystical and grand in scope. I like both, but have a preference for ROP.

reply

Indeed. Besides, HOTD feels like a series of bottle episodes.
