Is Ser Criston Cole immortal?

There's been like 3 or 4 time jumps, and this dude has yet to age. At least draw some wrinkle lines in his forehead and spray paint some white/gray on his temples.

I may as well throw Daemon in there. Dude has yet to show any aging.

In the books he is now around 45, but the show never states his birthyear. He could be made actually 10 years younger like alicent, which makes him now around 35. Nothing wrong here.

Sir Christ on Coal, hmm ?

reply

Not only is he immortal but he is also unpunishable it seems. Had to laugh at the cheap death out of nowhere of the councilman at the hands of Cole. Was there a spike on that table cause there's no way that should have killed him by the way.

It looked like he was going to be one of the nice guys in this show but as a testament to how void of any likeable good characters there are, he has quickly been shown to be an impulsively angry individual with a couple of deaths of innocents to his name already.

At first, I thought there was no way he'd be dead. But he was pretty old. A good smack would probably do it.

I just thought it was silly and over the top. I don't know how much of it is true to the book but I feel like if this was taking place in early GOT, this character objecting to what the queen had to say might have developed into a sub plot, or his death would have had more consequences. But he just gets killed in an instant and everything moves on as normal. This is part of the problem with this show. Things happen and they are quickly resolved soon after.

Daemon for sure. His brother the king was falling apart at the seams, yet Daemon was still a spring chicken.

reply

Did you miss the part where Viserys had leprosy?

reply

He looks a lot younger in the beginning though.
