FACT: You can not get close enough to a wild rabbit to kill it with a shovel.

Anytime someone says "prove me wrong", I actually hear the words "I'm too lazy to support my claims".

You can get close enough if it is a snare, etc.

You should expand upon your claim to explain why a person can't get close enough to kill a wild rabbit with a shovel.

Maybe the rabbit was ill and had very slow reactions.

Go into a wooded area, preferably with fresh winter show on the ground.

Set up a rabbit leg-trap with bait.

Come back in like 6 to 8 hours.

Whack rabbit with said shovel.

Ok I haven't seen this show so I don't know what you're referencing, I was just browsing the site and saw this post. All that said you definitely can kill rabbits by hand if you're quick. Me and my brothers used to do it all the time growing up back when we were young and fast.
