"Conservatives" lose thier shit over non white role

Summer 2021:
Black man is killed by police and the whole affair becomes a reminder of race issues in the country
Subsequently a TV producer decides to give a role in the show to a non white.

Conseqence:
Certain types start screaming "WOKE!" , "WOKE!"
"PC GONE MAD!"
"THERES A DIRTY MEXICAN ON MY SCREEN!"
The real "Justifcation" for these white-is-right warriors is that it may have been done deliberatley

Somebody might have actually actively done something to help fight the problem of racism ON PURPOSE!
This goes direclty against the official manifesto of the white-is-right warrior which is "If there is a problem it will correct itself by magic, we dont have to do anything"
The unofficial manifesto being:
" I dont want them blacks and mexicans in gods country unless they are in chains, it all went wrong when we let them sit on the bus"

I'm guessing you never saw the original show, if you had you would have known that his partner and co-star in the show was a black guy.

Would they have to have a with they wont they thing going on? No, but to assume they wont is to assume too much from the current writers in Hollywood. I don't think I can recall any shows where they had a male and female stuck together that they didn't push the will they won't they crap, it is as if the writers think no man and woman can ever work together without at least one of them wanting to fuck the other one.

Haven't checked it out yet but yea the predictable writers will almost certainly go in that direction. I'm sure some exist but I can't think of any cop or detective shows with male female duos where they didn't push the sexual tension.I thought maybe SVU but I recall that even though Benson and Stabler never did the deed there were episodes that alluded to the duo having feelings for each other.
