The woke was in the casting choices which includes the woman that is pretending to be a dude.... though sadly even if the casting was different it wouldn't improve the film. It really wasn't that scary and was predictable to the nth degree after about 10 minutes.

She was butch, that's about it. Actually pretty non-woke for a very diverse cast, everyone fit into their role really well without being shoehorned into the film to fill a diversity quota.
