At least better than the last jedi.

It's not good or anything but better than the last Jedi.

reply

No.

reply

I'm watching it right now. The visuals are of course way less than TLJ but the story is a lot more coherent, albeit lame.
Edit: I've just finished watching it and I must say it was corny but entertaining. Whereas the last Jedi (which I've watched twice for social obligations) is very disturbing in it's silly plot devices and rubbish storyline.

All in all, hooray Time Warner for making something that's an ok watch on a rainy afternoon!

reply

Or...screw you Time Warner for making my heroes get their first big team up movie one that is ONLY "an ok watch on a rainy afternoon".

I guess I'm just a better fan than you are since I expect better.

reply

Hey, I hated Warner killing the Brandon Routh sequel and was underwhelmed by Man of Steel. BvS was childish as hell and I instinctively skipped Suicide Squad and quit half way Wonder Woman (it's too dark and gloomy for me. I like gore or doomsday movies (Ichi the killer or the Road) but want (dark) cheer in my comic book movies).
So you can say I'm not a fan of the current DCCU. But I liked Justice League. Not much, but still.

reply

Didn’t say you WEREN’T a fan...just that i’m A better one.

Case in point: your response in based entirely on DC’s movies while i’m Writing about the entirety of their history.

reply

You are on moviechat.org. Maybe it slipped your mind being such a good fan of comics and all :-)

reply

nope, this is worse, way worse

reply

No, it certainly isn't. Because you can always reboot the DC universe. You can't reboot Star Wars.

reply

But see....you shouldn't HAVE to reboot the DCCU. The problem is they almost have to because they've screwed that pooch so many times, Benson and Stabler are investigating it.

reply

still doesn't make it any better than TLJ, JL was absolutely awful , one of the biggest flops in years, a stinker of a film

reply

But Furious, you need to realize....most of the League are men and in TLJ, every competent, important role that is not either a) wrong, b) indecisive or b) cowardly is a GIRL. So obviously if someone hates TLJ so much, he's afraid of women and feels more comfortable with hunky men in tights.

reply

It's you who's talking about that. But you've made your point.

reply

Since I've elected not to watch The Last Jedi EVER and since I elected to wait for Justice League to be free to watch in HD quality much later down the line, I can't attest to either of these. I WILL say, however, that I want Disney to lose the rights to Star Wars (I know--not going to happen) and I want this DCCU to be rebooted.

reply

Yeah go see Last Jedi if you want to watch a Mouse rape Star Wars. Kind of like a snuff film for your childhood.

reply

Astral Luke...*facepalm*

reply

If ONLY your childhood had been a snuff film......

reply

Fuck you, asshole. What the hell is wrong with you?

reply

I’m not the one who’s swearing out of frustration Jar Jar....

reply

That is plain mean. Please edit that shit dude.

reply

And Disneyfy a response? Seems doing that is what’s causing the problem!

reply

I asked edit, I did not ask you to go hate Jews.

reply

Where was there hate for Jewish people, buffoon?

reply

It was very mean and distasteful, but damn it was funny. I'm gonna have to remember that line for some time in the future when it's suitable and justified.

reply

Well it ain't IMDb but at least there's an Ignore function...

reply

Totally agree. Star Wars is sacred and they butchered it. Superman, Batman, WW...etc. will always be movies, even if they bomb this time. There will always be new directors, actors and stories to tell.

Instead of correctly passing the torch (as they did in Star Trek from Kirk to Picard), Kennedy and Johnson gave a huge middle finger to the fan base who grew up loving Star Wars.

reply

You're setting the bar a bit low there, Tex! ;-)
