Symbolism of the Stark kids and their Direwolves..

Sansa's direwolf is dead meaning she is no longer a Stark.

Arya's Direwolf is "missing" meaning she is in limbo about being a Stark.

Bran's Direwolf is dead meaning he's not a Stark he's the 3-eyed raven.

Rickon and Rob are dead, so are their Direwolves.

Jon Snow's Direwolf is alive and so is he, he's the only true Stark left.

Good points. In Sansa's case, her direwolf was killed almost immediately after she betrayed her own blood (Arya) by lying and claiming she didn't see what happened between Arya and Joffrey.

excellent point.

and technically Sansa's a Bolton since the marriage was consummated.

reply

True. She has to find the septon that gave Rhaegar his annulment and get one too.

reply

Since there's a King in the North now, she can have the king legally annul the marriage, and declare House Bolton officially extinct. Or she can do it herself, and sign it into law as Acting Kinginthenorth.

Of just cut the head off of anyone who calls her "lady Bolton".

reply

Don't say that! That means Ghost's head is on the block the moment Jon finds out he's been giving flirty looks to his aunt!
Leave us in hope he's not been seen due to budget not because he's a direwolf rug

Interesting thoughts...i have to mull...

the death of littlefinger ruins my theory a bit. what is sansa? although littlefinger could have his revenge from the grave.
sansa could still betray jon snow out of greed to become the lady of winterfell a trait learned from littlefinger.
