The show came out last summer. It’s not the original Loki. It’s the one who escaped in the alternate timeline in Endgame.

When I first saw that scene, I thought it all had to be one of his tricks, Loki would NEVER pull a dumbshit move like holding a knife behind his back! No, he'd make some dumbass who wanted to be a hero into a Loki lookalike, and let him get killed...
Sounds like Loki is done in the MCU. I was surprised to hear that after the end of Loki: Season 2. He was elevated to a much more significant power, and I thought they'd use that, but I guess that was his final curtain call. We'll see how bad Tom needs the work in the future.
