Ram horn head creatures

First episode was pretty good, but the ram horn characters are beyond silly and just dumb. I hope they realize this and phase them out.

I watched the trailer and as soon as I saw those horn dudes I knew this show isn't for me, they looked silly as hell. The visuals looked pretty cool otherwise.

Why are they any "sillier" than the winged fairies. They are obviously connected to fauns and/or puck. I think they are very well designed. It would have been obvious and easy to have the horns designed liked cattle or antelope, sharp and out-thrusting. The curled horns are more subtle and contained.

Any story involving fae are going to have a large range of creatures of wide-ranging physiology. As they should.

How good to encounter a literate and informed poster, Costumer. You are a refreshing change of pace on the internet.

reply

I try. I don't always succeed, but I try.

reply

Only The Lord God always succeeds, my friend. We mortals have to learn to be happy with “mere” excellence.

My best friend taught me that.

reply

Agreed.

reply

That's a fair point but what can I say, I just don't like the way they look, they look very childish to me. I guess winged fairies look a little childish too, but I'm not a big fantasy fan anyway..

reply

That might explain it. And you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

De Gustibus non disputandem est.

reply

Bad news I'm afraid but I don't mind them. Ram's horns seems like an odd place to draw a line.

The Puks are the major flaw of the show. A good show, but no one cares about the Puks. I felt no emotional conection to them. Gone with them they should

reply

I wouldn’t care if they got rid of them, but so far I haven’t... minded them.

Nonetheless, away you must! |D

There were no REAL rams or goats or buffalos in this show. I wonder, how do the "human" Pucks would react when they see ones on the leash...:)
