Has there ever been a better, more rousing speech in the history of cinema or even man than this nugget of inspiration that's delivered by a legend like Sly via his greatest (character) creation?

Other speeches that are also v good (but nowhere near amazing as this one)
1) Bill Pullman's presidential speech before going on to kick alien ass in Independence day
2) Alec Baldwin's awesome sales lesson that's also hilarious and brutal in Glengarry Glenn Ross
3) Ben Affleck's speech in Boiler Room

Man, haven't seen the old evil dead series since I was a kid. Need to re-visit the trilogy sometime.

Looking forward to seeing the new sequel this year.

Then Denzel Washington has some good coaching moments too.
Rocky '06 whilst not as much for team spirit is great for personal motivation. I did find it great how it can be argued Balboa up and won that match. He broke Mason the Line's hand, convinced one judge too few he had the upper hand, and no doubt finishing first in the mind of a lot of viewers.

Is it a question of looking past racial differences or of having manners to confront them?

Haven't seen AGS, will check it out.

And yeah, Rocky didn't lose even though he lost the fight. Mason not winning it unanimously and with ease can be seen as a victory of sorts to Rocky. Mason wouldn't have stood a chance against a prime Rocky.
