25 minutes in and

I'm 25 minutes into this movie and so far I'm loving it.

reply

Right on.

What a good movie. It was better than I thought it would be.

reply

I was hoping you could have given us 15 minute updates on how your viewing experience of this movie was going

reply

I really don't get why some people seem compelled to give updates like this! Just watch the whole of the damn film, then tell us what you thought if it! 😂

reply

Many times I watch movies in 15 minute intervals, and give updates after each interval. This way I can recommend to the reader if they can skip an interval or 2, or maybe start watching around the 40 minute mark, or sometimes just watch the ending. I am told its very helpful

reply

Can't you tell them all that once you've finished the film? (And who just watches the ending of a film??)

reply

Well I used to do 30 minute interval reviews while I watch movies, and so many appreciated my reviews, I was asked to do them in 15 minute intervals instead. And certain movies, its only necessary to watch the ending. Take The Rise of Skywalker for example. I tell my readers to just fast forward to the end so they can see the greatest plot twist in cinema history when its revealed Rey is a Palpatine and she destroys her grandfather once and for all. The rest of the movie could be skipped

reply

I don't see any advantage whatsoever in stop-start movie reviews over posting all your thoughts once the movie has finished. And endings need to be seen in the context of the rest of the film, surely. Otherwise a twist doesn't mean anything as they don't know what it's a twist on.

reply

Ever see the movie Bullitt with Steve McQueen? I saved so many people from that boredom by having them go directly to the middle of the movie just to see the car chase

reply

Sure, if all they want is to watch speeding cars. But they're missing a good movie.

reply

I'm going to be reviewing Titanic later this week. Its a little over 3 hours but I'll have reviews every 15 minutes of film time. But my reviews won't contain any spoilers

reply

We all know the ship sinks!

reply

The opening scenes reveal the ship sank and the rest of the movie is shown in flashback. I didn't like that because I was not aware of the Titanic sinking before watching this

reply

Riiight...

reply

Spoiler alerts, please!! Not all of us have seen every movie ever made!!

reply

Sorry!

YOUR "READERS" ONLY READ YOUR 'WORK' BECAUSE IT'S THEIR JOB...ALL PRISONERS MAIL IS OPENED AND READ...IT'S POLICY.

reply

Yes and the prison guard officials would appreciate if you can use lower case letters next post

reply

DAMN THE MAN!

reply

I love this movie. I mean it's a stupid comic book movie, but a really good, enjoyable, solid, comic book movie!

reply

Gal Gadot is the definition of babe.

reply

She's a bit skinnier than I normally go for, but damn she looks good in that WW outfit!

reply

It's a godawful movie--a straight-up remake of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER. If you were going to just rip off a Marvel movie, why not rip off one of the good ones, instead of (arguably) the worst one Marvel ever made? WW throws in some stuff swiped from THOR also but not enough to help. And it's REALLY stupid.
