This movie is racist as hell

Towards whites in general. It's always the big, bag, boogey man whitey. Black on white racism is far more predominant than anything else. Hollywood needs to get their heads out of their asses and stop displaying the white man as evil. It happens constantly.

Did you watch this movie at all? The villains are black (by birth, if not by present hosts). So if anything the movie would be considered actually racist towards blacks. And I would even say it's racist at all, it's just a movie with racial elements, different thing.

Yeah, this just blows the OP's premise.

Yeah, the only times the whites are misbehaving is when possessed by Justify and Cecile. The white people at the giant party in the flashback behaved horribly, led by the father, but their suspicions also turned out to be right, so...

There's also the comment about black people being too smart to stay on working at the house, so that'd be in their favor.

After she was possessed, she complained that she wanted a black body.

White much???

It's not a racist film. It represents a time of racism. It is history. This how black people were treated.

'The white man' in this film were evil by our standards so it's accurately represented and not racist.

(Obviously discounting the paranormal side of the story).
