It feels so amateurish now, and Bill Murray is terrible.

just rewatched it...still beautiful

So how do you feel about it now, four years later?

it brought back the same feeling that I had when first watched it...
I love it even more now..I still go back and watch some scene of the film..

I don't think it's aged at all. But I'm wondering if it looks dated to people who live in Tokyo.

I agree with OP, though I'm not sure if it's because the film has aged, or because I have. 17 years ago, I thought the music was sooo cool, the film was sooo edgy, Scarlett was sooo hot, etc.

Re-watching it now, it seems to have lost much of it's power on all fronts. Like much 'indie' and 'art-house' stuff, it was film of its time and place.

I disagree. I re-watched it recently and I was more engaged than I was before. Maybe that says more about me than the movie, but I was really touched by the relationship the two main characters forge in the midst of emotional isolation. Whatever it is about the film, it's bittersweet and lovely - for me, anyway.

Disagree. It always felt so. Nothing too special there. The only interesting thing the director did was focus on the girl's butt in the opening shot. Am still wondering about the thinking behind that one. So that worked at least, I guess.

Hard disagree. I just rewatched it in 2021 and found that it holds up beautifully.
