the way he uses the jedi mind trick on that twi'lek chick in the coruscant club to fall for him. it feels like he's used that trick before.

I've never seen an explanation for why Anakin does a subtle "mind trick" like hand gesture as he walks past a few nightclub patrons, but I never got the impression that it meant anything beyond a casual greeting gesture. It might have just been something that Hayden Christensen improvised. Whatever the case, I'm pretty confident that he wasn't trying to mind trick a portly pink Twi'lek into falling in love with him .

However, you do have good points so I don't want to say that you are wrong. It's simply that if I take myself as an example: I know how much more nervous and clumsy I can be when around a woman that I actually like than with one with whom I'm only here for sex. The latter doesn't really make me be awkward. But if I like the girl and want to be with her, it's a whole other story lol, it's like if half of my brain turns off.

Okay. I guess you can just say it's "informally" clear or at least a logical deduction based on what we know about Anakin. He's been in love with Padme since he first met her & there's the Jedi which Anakin has been under the strict tutelage since leaving Tatooine. An order that emphasizes discipline & discourages romantic entanglements & forming attachments. So based on all we know about his feelings and upbringing, Anakin being a teenage skirt chaser between TPM & AOTC would be very out of character. share
Yeah and I realized that I totally omitted the "Jedi code" from my argument. It gives a considerable reason to believe that he was indeed never involved with any other partner. I find it stupid, because are jedis supposed to reproduce then? And it's simply human nature to which for a love interest with whom you share you life.
But well... maybe jedis don't need this and the power of their minds fulfill that desire...
I know that myself I can't stay single for too long so... I would be a bad jedi. 😅

sharehe hadn't seen her in 10 years and never expected to. the "mind trick" in the club scene was after he she was back in his life so it seems a little suspicious.
sharei feel even the awkward i hate sand line could have been a way to get her to fall for him and sleep with him. though i naturally think he had great feelings for padme, telling a girl that you're interested in some inner feeling you have towards something helps ease the girl into seeing you as more human and then she sleeps with you.
