Is THIS the worst movie of all time?

No it is not.

Worst movie of all time... Every mediocre to bad film ever made and a lot of good ones get called that by somebody.
This was a bad idea (a prequel beginning with Darth Vader as a little boy) done with excellent effects and some spectacular imagination. It suffers from poor pacing (amazingly, the pod race seems boring) but it has some good performances and at least one stunning action sequence. The music is John Williams and he clearly still has it. Overall a decent film.
Clones was a little better. It has the most banal and offensive developments of the Anakin/Padme relationship but the death of Anakin's mother is well done. If we had started with Anakin at this age and the events of his childhood had been flashbacks, I think it might have been a good place to begin a trilogy. The movie looks great with fine effects and imaginative settings. The notion of Jedi as detectives is actually rather nicely done and Kamino and Geonosis are both very memorable.

It's pretty bad but I have seen far worse (try watching BLOODLINE from 1979 or THE LAST AIRBENDER from 2009-- and even those aren't the worst of all time, though they're certainly some of the most rotten big-budget movies I have ever seen). At least TPM was made with some interesting ideas, even if they're executed horribly. Plus the costumes and score are great, and the effects have held up pretty well.

FUCK no! I know that this is the typical troll post. But, even the new "Matrix Resurrections" is at least 10 levels below "Phantom Menace." And that's just one example.
