I would not give 10/10 but I really like this movie.
shareFor me, it would depend on the rubric employed. If rating it on a continuum with other films, it wouldn't be a 10, but if you were just rating it on whether or not it was a top-grade action/adventure-comedy film? Yeah, it'd have to be close to the top.
shareI have my own taste so it's my opinion. You have another taste and that is fine. I compare this to the other 1100 film I have rated. The Mummy is one of my favorite films. It's that simple.
shareMore power to you. It's a great movie. I should have clarified that I wouldn't rate it 10/10 comparing it to other films. If it's your favourite film of all time, I totally respect that; it's awesome.

I might cock an eyebrow at somebody who stated their favourite film to be, say, X-Men 3, Cars 2, or something like that, but I see no reason to get nasty.
It was my favorite movie back when it came out. Still a fun movie.
shareI tend to not rate any films a 10/10 because that denotes perfection and I tend to think that no films are perfect, but The Mummy is a great movie and even one of the most entertaining movies of all time. In fact, it was one of the most entertaining films from one of the best movie years of all.

I gave it an 8/10, but can easily see why you rate it a full 10. We are saturated with special effects in movies now in 2021, but this flick was pretty groundbreaking with some of its CGI back in the day.
This movie is basically the blueprint that Marvel's MCU is based on - cool stars, tons of action liberally peppered with comedy, grand CGI sets and a menacing villain who is going to destroy the world unless the good guys intervene.
Still like this movie more than the Tom Cruise's version. The sequel's awesome too, although I didn't care for the 3rd one much.
This is one of my favourite films of all time as well.
Disney tried to recreate this movie’s magic with Jungle Cruise but for me they failed spectacularly.
The cast of this film have brilliant chemistry, there’s action, horror, romance and laughs and it’s just ridiculously entertaining from start to finish.
