I watch this movie now and Rose is just a whore cheating on her Fiance....

shareTechnically, she was a whore. But Cal wasn't the most nicest guy and she wasn't in love with him. I did understand his reaction though.

Don't be so pathetic. It's clear you take any criticism of Rose personally. I don't care one bit about this stupid, fictional character in this stupid, fictional movie (well, I actually am annoyed with the lies Cameron tells about the true Titanic story). It's just dumb that Rose is portrayed as the heroine and Cal as the bad guy, when she was a cheating bitch. The movie wants me to sympathize with her and I simply can't.
I don't really like Rose that much, sport, I'm just aware Cal was far, far worse. You know, since he tries to commit murder and sets people up and is physically abusive. It's just strange you only say Cal isn't a nice guy when he's an attempted murderer but get a lot more angry about the things Rose did.
LOL you don't care about the fictional character yet you get so angry and take her actions so personally. That's truly pathetic. Plus you're whining about a movie you don't even like. Again, such anger at a fictional movie. I don't remember you being so rabid and aggressive on the Friends board on imdb. Maybe you're going through some hardships?
Cal is condemned in the movie, Rose is not. Simple as that. Why should I stress that Cal is a jerk, when the movie is already clear about that? I'm not "angry" at Rose, I'm annoyed at the fact that I'm personally attacked for simply agreeing with the sentiments stated by others. All I said was "Haha, so true" and that Cal may not be a nice guy, but Rose was a bitch (when she didn't know yet that he was an "attempted murderer"). How the hell is that "rabid" or "aggressive"?
And again, I am actually annoyed that Cameron took such an interesting and tragic story and added so much crap.

She was being forced into a marriage and she'd rather be with Jack. I don't see how that's being a whore.

shareWell, to be honest, she wasn't a "whore", but she certainly wasn't the most respectable person around neither. So the post might be a bit rude, but not totally out of touch.
shareWhy wasn't she respectable? Do you think that her and Jack should have contained their passions until she after she broke free from Cal? Problem there, that would never have happened since the ship sunk nor would there have been as much exciting conflict.
