Why I hate this movie..

Its sad what happened to Karl

Karl threw his life away for nothing. He was sent back to the Hospital and will never get out... I guarantee you within 6 months probably less that woman is gonna find another lowlife who does the exact same thing... Its what women like that do. You can see it every day.. Carl should have just stayed at the shop fixed engines lived his life.

reply

What do you mean by 'Women like that'? And yeah, what a terrible mother she was, putting such a terrible human being in her son's life.

reply

I mean women who hook up with scum like. She did. I mean his type ...you see it there are no secrets. To what he is ...I dont know what to call a woman that willingly gets with a guy like that...I mean from the very start. Not that she is stuck with him later on.

reply

I agree. I HATED Linda. She was nothing but a needy, selfish idiot.

As to Karl, the crime aside, I'm not sure how sad he was about having to return.
Karl was very reluctant to leave from the start, but he also made the comment that 'the world was too big'.
He didn't seem able to *handle* it very well, at least emotionally.
He seemed calm at the end, so maybe it didn't bother him all that much.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?
Penfold, shush.

reply

Hmmm maybe ... In the end he is better off... And for him..... In a good place?

reply

He might be better off, but who am I going to get to fix my lawn mower. The grass is just too big for me.

reply

Mmmmm like me some o them goats mmmm

reply

On some terms, I agree with you. But then again, it's important to keep in mind that Karl was literally insane...psychologically damaged. And plus, I think you're missing the point. Karl didn't want to leave the mental hospital in the first place. He was basically released in a mandatory manner. He didn't have a choice. So for him, killing Doyle, and returning to the mental hospital is exactly what he wanted. And plus, he simply didn't like Doyle. Linda's line of decision making is aside the point. Karl just needed a reason to go back to the hospital.

reply

I'd have to disagree on this. I think that he didn't mind the hospital but I also don't think he was looking for a reason to go back. Had Doyle been a good man he'd have just kept working at the mower shop and eating fries.

reply

I agree with you as well. Plus he loved Frank and did not want to leave him and his mother.

reply

Someone like Karl should be put down. He spent most his life in a mental hospital for killing someone. The minute they let him out (after 30 years) he kills someone else. The reason for it aside, he's obviously beyond repair. Why should tax money go towards keeping him locked up instead of just putting him out of his misery and saving the tax-payer money?

reply

Pretty cynical opinion.

reply

His momma didn't love him enough so he hates all women.

reply

He did it for the boy, dumbass. Also you sound like an incel.
