overrated

I agree, but then I think Tarantino is very over rated. Reservoir Dogs is the only movie of his that I thought was good and would watch again.

I always go to bat for Tarantino's first 3 films, everything after that I would probably say yes as most of his films are flawed to hell and far too overlong.

But Pulp Fiction is a masterpiece, I think his first three films are. Deserving of all the love it gets. But that's just me.

I always say Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are fantastic and Inglorious Basterds is well worth watching for so many great scenes with Col. Landa. The other QT movies aren't must-sees like these 3 that's for sure.

I can understand hate for QT but he has some great (if flawed) movies. Pf is one of them. I think OP probably also hates other QT films that he hasn't even seen yet.

QT has many problems that bother me. Several of his more recent films would score higher with me if it weren't for some of his directing/writing quirks.

Tried watching this 3 times over the years and still can't get through it. I don't like his films, he seems to just try and up the shock/violence metre every film.

I'm a Generation X'er, and I saw PF when it was in the theaters and I hated it. I had an uncle who was a Boomer and he said you had to be older to appreciate the references. Whatever.

I loved True Romance, Inglorious Bastards, and Django. I pretty much hate everything else. I can't say that Reservoir Dogs isn't a good film, I just didn't like it for the gratuitous violence.
