Who else saw this in theaters?

I did. I was about 15, must have been. I didn't really care for it at the time. I grew to appreciate the film much more as an adult. But we went to Disney World/Universal and I got to see some of the actual sets they shot on, and that was super exciting.

Actually my local convenience store decided to start renting videos overnight for a brief period. I think it was the only movie I rented. I didn't think much of this as a kid.

I think I was 9 that summer and went with a group of friends for a birthday party. It was a ton of fun and I still love the movie today.

I think I was 5, and I remember my entire family going to see it. My brother (who was 7 at the time) was especially enthusiastic about the story.

I did. I was ten years old, and I begged my dad to take me to see this. He did, and we went back and saw it a second time, too.
