Truly a bad movie.

This film is the worst thing I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of terrible movies.
There is no character development whatsoever, she is the same annoying evil brat that she was in the beginning of the film when she blew a policeman's head off for the sake of it. She attacks her martial arts teacher and dances to it, she's legitimately criminally insane.

Can anyone tell me why they enjoy this movie and then provide every other movie that they enjoy? Because I have to seriously judge your garbage taste.

Yet another moron who can't understand the basic principle that we don't all like the same movies. We are all different.

And then they want us to explain it to them...and cite all other movies we like?

You didn't like it...many others did, many others didn't. No one has to justify either way.

The OP seems to delete his account every few months and creates a new one. Previously he was known as SASKIA, then some HelloSydney dude and now MEWsHusband. Maybe he needs to start all over again when people realize what kind of jerk he is. LOL.

I'm MEWSHusband's friend IRL and introduced him to this site recently, at which point we both created accounts (I'm more of a lurker). What you just said is completely false in every way.

FYI he doesn't care if people think he's a jerk and doesn't create new accounts anywhere because of it.

I have watched it several times, the leading actress is very convincing on what she does, it's a must watch at least once

If all you had said is you don't like the movie, that would have been fine.

But to call it the worst ever? And then ask others to list what movies they liked, and explain why they liked Nikita? And finally to say everyone who likes the movie has garbage taste.

So you're trashing both the movie, and the people who liked it.

And you wonder why you're getting flak...

It was always La Femme Nikita and suddenly became Nikita. Fantastic movie with incredible French actress Anne Parillaud. One of my favorite Luc Besson films. Others being Leon. Fifth Element. One of the best assassin movies. My favorite scene was the “test” in the restaurant with no exit. If she didn’t pass it, it meant her death.

I didn't think much of it either, and found it pretty disappointing. Slow and uninteresting for much of the run time. Only a few moments of actual tension. At the beginning, when Nikita is supposed to be 19, I was thinking she looks 30. Sure enough, Anne was 30 when this was made. But that's not really the problem with the movie. I just didn't think it was very good or that she was very compelling. Luc Besson did far better than this later on.
