When Did You Become A "Seinfeld" Fan?

Very early. It was up against Home Improvement at the time, I believe, and struggling in the ratings.

It was so different than anything else that was on at the time.

Was on a plane with a bunch of friends going to Hawaii for a destination wedding. The two guys in the seat next to me kept talking about everything that happened in this show about people trying to get a table at a Chinese restaurant. One of them was even Chinese. After hearing their description I decided I had to check it out. When I got home I started religiously watching every week for the rest of the run.

During Seinfeld's early days I never watched an entire episode. I remember seeing the opening a few times with Jerry doing his standup act, didn't think it was funny, and I'd change the channel. It never looked funny to me in the teasers I saw for it either. I was around 15 at the time.

In 1996 when I was 21 I started hanging out at a co-worker's house a lot, a guy I'd also gone to school with. He was a big Seinfeld fan, and at first I thought, "Why?" It was there that I watched a full episode for the first time, and it was hilarious. After that I tried to watch it every week, sometimes at my friend's house and sometimes at home.

Around 2000 or so I was watching this, but now, I watch it every day, 7 days a week, 365 Days a year thanks to the 24/7 Seinfeld Streaming Channel where it' show non-stop.. I never grow tired of it either.. Love "The Lip Reader" and the one where Jerry's car stinks and he can't get rid of the odor.. 😂
