Short Term Character You Wish Would've Stayed On Longer?

Which character that was short-term do you think should've been on the show longer? I'll start by giving my Top 2;

1.) Scott.(David's best friend.)

2.) Joe Bradley.

I'd say Susan (loved her and Brandon together), D'Shawn, Ray, Celeste, Lucinda.

I didn't like Joe too much (boring).

Nikki Witt: She was Audrey from the original Vacation movie. She was cute as a button. I was sad to see her go.

Celeste: The real life daughter of Carey Grant! How did they not keep her?!

Marianne Moore: The school slut turns out to be a sweet person. It would have made for a good redemption arch.

Scott: He was one of the the only likeable characters from the first season. Almost everyone else was stuck up, spoiled, or pretending to be stuck up, and spoiled. Even Brandon (the moral center of the show) could be really off putting at times during the first season.

Yes another vote for Roger Azarian--the 'perfect teen who had everything' actually needed mental health care treatment. I thought Roger was likeable. It shows that people needing mental health care are 'normal' and still deserve friends etc in life. Brandon visits him and is not frightened. it also shows how easy it is to ignore signs of people needing mental health care. They should have kept him on as a character. We never hear from him again after that one visit. So what did happen to him? Where is he? I'm sure he would have been wonderful at CU on their tennis team.

Mike Ryan--Another likeable character. Mike is accidentally outed as gay by Steve who sees him at a coffeehouse. (when he and Brandon must use that phone after their car breaks down). Steve subsequently stands up for Mike against Artie who first wants the president voted out and then ultimately leaves the fraternity when Mike's removal and expulsion does not happen. Mike becomes the first gay member and the first gay president of the fraternity. But we never hear from Mike again after this episode. Mike previously and effectively prevented John Sears from preying on a young girl at a charity event for the Downey House. So it's a shame they did not continue Mike Ryan or explain what had happened to him after college.

Carly - regardless of Hilary Swank not getting along with both Jennie and Ian. The Carly/Steve chemistry was amazing. Her and Steve should have been endgame

I wish Susan would have stayed on the show; she was Brandon’s best girlfriend. I also liked Celeste. Her and Steve were really cute together.

Brenda and Brandon 's wheelchair bound cousin

D'Shawn! He was a cool character

That one guy in season 1(2?) Kelly really liked but he seemed unsure if he liked girls or not? I skipped some episodes so I'm not sure if that storyline was resolved

Dylan's little sister Erica

they should have paired Kyle the Jock up with the frat president Mike. Perfect CU power couple.

agree re D'Shawn and Erica. I would have loved to see them added on.
