Been nagging at me how they can work him in. Seems he has as much reason to hate Silver and Kreese as Daniel does. After losing the match they probably dropped him back in whatever hole they found him in. And since the dojo has been running without him, he might even interpret that as he's been cheated of his fair share.

shareThere is a big difference between tournament champion and national champion. Furthermore, martial arts magazines often do features on fighters both famous and infamous. Barnes was the latter. If you notice who wrote the piece on Barnes it is Pat Johnson. Now it is not uncommon for people with a high standing in the Karate community to have a column in a martial arts magazine. Johnson probably travelled to and officiated at many tournaments. It would be no surprise for him to, in his column, mention different martial artists he has come across in those tournaments. Especially somebody as controversial as Barnes, a talented fighter who is also a bit of a dirty fighter. Hence Tournament Terror.
