Yes but it was still too close to that era to look back. Baby boom was not in power yet. So Karen wasn't a 'leader'

If you want series where she/her type is going to be examined fairly look at American dreams, it ran several years later but is more edgy.

I think she did--but she did not fit into what was considered conventional forms of behavior. A person can love their family but still want something else in life ...including without really knowing what that something else is or really should be.

she was weird bc she just did not robotically do what was told. she was able to think for herself and think critically.

Kevin was the best child, hands down. Kevin was a terrible child, and Wayne was a terrible brother.
