You sound literate!

u sound paranoid

reply

The movie has become too obscure for people to care about.

Just another movie headed towards oblivion.

reply

Too bad. It's a silly movie, for sure. But it's damn entertaining (I guess that describes most mainstream movies).

reply

I never watched it. (I was a teenager when this came out) Ralph Macchio as a blues guitarist comes across as a little odd. If I come across it on cable I'll check it out.

reply

Haha, it is odd. But that's part of why it's so entertaining.

reply

Silly, yes. Especially the plot line with Jamie Gertz. Not much else to recommend it, other than the great guitar playing of Ry Cooder and Steve Vai, who played Jack butler, the devil's guitarist, and who played both sides of the guitar duel at the end.

reply

Not to worry, I have a copy.

reply

The black cops abusing their power would not be viewed well by the Woke crowd. Perhaps they can CGI them into white Good Ol' Boys?

reply

Wouldn't be surprised.

reply

I think it will for now...because those of us guitar players who watched this movie will keep it going. Great movie!
