So , how did you find Josh Gadd Youtube Reunion Special?!

Honestly, I love Josh Gadd for doing this. It was the perfect reunion to cheer people up and he really did his homework to get every one involved, even Cindy Lauper!! It was the best cast reunion I have ever seen and they were not even in the same room! Apparently the zoom call was 2 hours , gosh! I hope they will release an uncut version. Josh Gadd said he had episode 2 already picked up and it that it was a doozy. I personally hope for a Neverending Story reunion.

It's worth 30 minutes of your time if you are a fan of the movie. Everybody involved still alive are in it and they all comes out as natural and just having fun. I'm definitely looking forward more reunion like this one.

Just watched it!
Great stuff , they all looked like they enjoyed it too

Awesome youtube video.
Not a fan of reunions, but this one felt authentic and it was for a good cause.
Everybody was nice and cool, I loved them!

PS: thanks for the heads up! That's what moviechat is about

reply

Your'e welcome. Yeah it felt real and unpretentious unlike these reunion that are done by news shows. It just felt like a bunch of friend getting together.

reply

Exactly! Thanks again.

It was great. Everyone seemed to genuinely love that time together and the people they got - Chris Columbus, Cyndi Lauper, Donner, and Speilberg - was really impressive. I'm watching Goonies right now after watching it.

It was a landmark in celebrating a cult classic, and perfectly edited so it moved quickly, was funny, and the surprise guests kept on coming. One of the best videos on YouTube.

It was weird to think that the reunion on the DVD happened nearly 20 years ago. In fact, the time gap between that reunion and now is greater than between the movie’s original release and the DVD reunion - why does time go so fast!?

In the old reunion Kerry Green (Andy) was really hot, and you sensed there was (still) chemistry between her and Brolin. In the new reunion she’s looking a fair bit older, with dyed hair, but still not a bad looking lady.

reply

I know right! 20 years?! That is nuts

reply

I thought the DVD reunion was from 2010?

reply

Nah way before that.

reply

Do you know where it can be seen? Can´t find it on youtube.

reply

On the DVD. It's a commentary track, but it's did picture-in-picture mode. So you can see the cast while they do the commentary.

reply

It’s also on the blu-ray, it lasts for the whole film so likely won’t be on YouTube, which could breach copyright.

reply

Oh okay, I didn´t realise the commentary was done way before the Blu Ray release. I just assumed everything was done in 2010.
