Why is he not attacking the parents?

Why is Freddy not attacking the parents, they are still alive, those are the ones who killed him, burned him, not the children. Why almost only their children? Freddy's memory seems really burned down to ashes at that point:)))

He wants the kids.

Freddy's entire agenda as a dream-demon / serial killer, is to specifically target young people. I mean, before he died, he killed children...so it only makes sense that his twisted desire would follow him into the afterlife. And plus, I think that's Freddy's way of getting ultimate revenge on the parents...by killing their children. What can be more devastating to a parent than that? But I see your point, it would make more sense if Freddy targeted the adults. But hey, I guess that's just not his style.

Perhaps he intended to but wanted to kill the kids first to emotionally hurt the parents before he got around to actually killing them.

Plus if he kills the kids, the parents will...never be born!!!

reply

Because killing teens is what 80's Slashers do?
