don was on radio 2 (uk) talking Knives Out and said a new Miami Vice is in the works and that hed probably be involved in some way for the fans/give it legitimacy/connect to the original . also mentioned Nash Bridges is coming back in a possible tv movies. the host (steve wright) asked him what he thought of the 2006 MV movie and don went 'what movie?' and they all lol'd. also general banter/lol about how Hollywood thought it had done the belated sequel stuff to everything else then remembered his stuff, plus the MV fashions etc (DJ saying ppl now wear what he wore in the show as pyjamas lol)

I've been saying it for years. Miami Vice is an idea, an attitude, a style. A hip police department. It's not Crockett and Tubbs. The show needs to be updated, not remade.
