Lawrence Kasdan hated the shooting the swordsman scene

Screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan was not a fan, believing that the improvised change actually hurt the character of Indy as well as the movie itself.

The iconic status of the character and this scene renders his opinion completely useless, no matter who he is.

It's place in cinematic history speaks for itself.

lol what? ya threw a body building nazi into a plane's propeller blades ya brutal bastard. he's just upset cause it's an iconic moment for the character and he didn't write it.
