Brilliant. They don't make em like this anymore.


I don't care what anyone says, i loved it. Angry mutant bear bitch-slapping people everywhere, not to mention it runs on two legs. Does anyone else here embrace its awesomness?

I have to admit I loved it as a kid. That scene when the truck turns on its side and a dude is strapped to the top: The bear moves in front of the camera angle and when he moves away the guy’s head is gone. I hope I’m remembering it right because it left a lasting impression.

I just rewatched and had forgotten how good it is. I like that David Seltezer didn't dumb down the scientific details and they even killed the camping kids which is somewhat rare for the time.

I watched this today on AMAZON Prime because that's the only place I've seen it and Yes, it's a slow burner, but once it gets going, it's awesome.. Felt sorry for the kid in the sleeping bag
