I don’t know Jason. But however bad he did, it was apparently no where near as bad as Edwards, that you could smell a country mile off, and that Bunny the horse smelled like a country rose in comparison to. At least according to Albert_Ingalls 😀

Edwards smelled like a mix of sweat, whiskey, prostitutes, Charles tears, tobacco, rotted meat, shame, lemon vebina, coffee and small pox. The horse only smelled like horse crap. Edwards for the win.
I remember that post from Imdb and it made me laugh like crazy. I wish Albert Ingalls had come over to this one, he always had great posts about this show.

He probably didn't smell that bad. He never worked, and though he made it an art form, Charles didn't have to burn up a sweat to be the town busybody. Also he cried so much he likely bathed himself with his own tears.
The question is how badly did Mr.Edwards smell, and how drunk was Caroline when she let Edwards impregnate her with Laura? Laura smells like a dirty horse!
