She seems desperate, she released Lover very quickly and this new album even quicker. It is like she is realizing that her star is fading and thinks that quickly releasing albums will help her stay relevant and at the top.

Sorry Taylor, but this is Ariana Grande's land now.

She's being supportive and active more than ever. That means that she's doing very well now. Plus, she always wins all the awards so who's fading now?

I don’t know the sales of Lover (which was a good album imo) but I’m certain this is not a Conner4Real moment where Taylor is flailing around cause her album flopped. I’ve seen that happen to Eminem (Released a surprise album a year after his newest release because everyone said the previous album sucked), DJ Khaled (Went on Twitter and yelled at a 17 year old girl for charting higher than he did), and Robin Thicke (literally only sold 150 albums in Australia), and this certainly doesn’t compare to those situations.
